WB+AD Morgan is a leading UK water well driller and installer of ground source heating (geothermal) systems.
The history of the company:
WB+AD Morgan was established by Wilfred Bruce (WB) and Allan Dennis (AD) in 1946. Following the war, they supplied generators to rural areas, allowing cows to be milked using electric machines.
Throughout the 1980s, mains electricity became more widely available and the generators slowly became redundant, however, Wilfred and Allan quickly realised there was a market for drilling for water as water costs continued to rise and more properties and holdings had an electricity supply to run a pump.
Allan’s son, Brian Morgan, joined the company in 1984 and continued to drill for water whilst incorporating ground source heating systems into the company’s portfolio.
WB+AD Morgan employs a team of 15 skilled specialists and the company has installed thousands of boreholes and pumps, as well as hundreds of miles of pipework for clients including water service providers such as Dwr Cymru and commercial suppliers such as Brecon Carreg.
The company has built a credible reputation for providing reliable, trouble-free water supplies. Through the engineering operations, selection of equipment and materials for well construction, the consistent focus is on quality.
Each system is tailor-made to the unique requirements of the client. As a major installer of submersible pumps in the UK, WB+AD Morgan offers a complete service, which covers all aspects of borehole design, drilling, ground work and pump installation.
WB+AD Morgan is an agent for major pump manufacturers — a wide range is available from 0.5 cubic metres per hour (100gph) through to 360 cubic metres per hour (60,000gph) and more.
In 2019, WB+AD Morgans was sold to SafeLane Global Limited. The Morgan’s team, name and brand remain unchanged.
