Work is ongoing on the drilling of a large 600mm diameter abstraction borehole for public water supply in Herefordshire. The borehole will have a stainless steel wedge wire screen installed to prevent sand ingress and maintain pumping efficiency. The borehole was drilled using our Soilmec PSM 16GT drilling rig using rotary auger and casing methods
