Igne is a leading UK water well driller and installer of ground source heating (geothermal) systems. 

The company has installed thousands of boreholes and pumps, as well as hundreds of miles of pipework for clients including water service providers such as Dwr Cymru and commercial suppliers such as Brecon Carreg.

The company has built a credible reputation for providing reliable, trouble-free water supplies.  Through the engineering operations, selection of equipment and materials for well construction, the company’s consistent focus is on quality.

Each system is tailormade to the unique requirements of the client.  As a major installer of submersible pumps in the UK, Igne offers a complete service, which covers all aspects of borehole design, drilling, groundwork and pump installation.

The Role: Administrator (Operations Support)

Location Presteigne, Powys
Duration Full-time permanent
Hours 8am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday. 8am to 5pm Friday.

Salary £21,000 per annum

About our opportunity

A summary of duties includes:

  • Planning and scheduling
  • General office management
  • Telephone and face to face customer service
  • Diary and email management
  • Liaison with site crews to book accommodation and deliveries
  • Database management and data input
  • Creating and issuing site paperwork
  • Filing and general administrative duties
  • Assisting managers with time management
  • Assisting the office team where necessary
  • Site staff training and development management
  • Liaison with other offices

About you

It is essential that you have good knowledge of, and experience with MS office.  You will have a corporate outlook, the ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment dealing with both clients and staff - you must be able to adapt to change at pace.

It is preferred that you have knowledge of Microsoft Project, the construction and drilling industry, but this is not essential.
