World Water Day
This year’s World Water Day theme is valuing water, making it the perfect day to introduce you to the benefits of geophysical water borehole logging.
Every year on March the 22nd, the UN encourages us all to celebrate World Water Day and raise awareness of the global water crisis. A core focus of the day is Sustainable Development Goal 6 – i.e., water and sanitation for all.
As signatories to the UN Global Compact, we uphold all Sustainable Development Goals. As this year’s World Water Day theme is valuing water, it makes it the perfect day to introduce you to the benefits of geophysical water borehole logging.
By surveying a borehole, the data generated helps us understand far more about the quality of the water for our clients. Take a look:
As discussed in the video, we offer our clients an uninterrupted phase of works – from site assessment to borehole drilling, from casing and pump installation to geophysical logging. We are also able to survey existing wells to diagnose issues and problem solve.
We conduct geophysical surveys and CCTV surveys and can define a borehole’s geophysical characteristics with our full suite of survey equipment.

Water abstraction licence
As of April 2005, abstractions of less than 20m3/day do not require licensing by the Environment Agency. If the abstraction is greater than 20m3/day a water abstraction licence will be required, and this is something we can manage for you as it can be a protracted affair to apply, and its complexity is often daunting.
