If successful, you will work independently whilst demonstrating leadership and taking a key role in the development of Drilling Assistants and Trainee Drillers. You will be working outside in all weathers, be required to work away from home Monday through to Friday. You may need to work evenings and weekends occasionally. Accommodation, food allowance and transportation is provided.

Although work is completed on our clients' site, commuting to our depot is a requirement and therefore you will ideally reside within a reasonable distance from the depot.

In summary, you will:

• Carry out drilling, construction, and installation of water supply boreholes using various drilling techniques
• Select required equipment for each project
• Handle site operations ensuring all work is carried out as safely as possible
• Maintain the rig and carry out routine maintenance
• Transport and set up our drilling rig and specialist plant equipment
• Maintain and carry out routine maintenance on equipment

About you

It is essential that you have experience within domestic and commercial water well drilling projects, have your NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling and CSCS card and hold a full driving licence

Hours - Full time 44 hours per week
